Is it true that...'House wives' are not able to learn painting properly?
Many people think 'House wives' cannot learn painting properly. Even if they go to classes, they may do one or two paintings with the help of instructor. They cannot progress beyond that. That is what everybody thinks. Yes! It may be true in general situations.
But in our school it is the opposite. We are mainly having ' House Wives ' as our students. They are painting like professionals. And ...now they want to be professionals.

Is it possible to learn painting once you cross 30 or 40 years?
Many people ask this question. Actually... it is the right age to learn painting. Becoming artist means understanding life. For this we require maturity. We should experience some aspects of life. With that experience, our understanding ability is much better than a 20 year old. So, if you cross that age, it will be an added point in favor of learning painting.
What is the use of learning painting? Is it for hanging a few paintings in our place? Or putting some sort of exhibition to get fame?
Not at all. It is for our inner wisdom. That wisdom will help us to overcome the obstacles of our life. Fame , Money all are by products of that wisdom. Learning art in the right way will help us to understand life. That understanding will bring happiness into our lives. That happiness is ...Energy. Energy is life. With this change we will be alive in every moment of our life.

On students aged 15 years and above
Is it possible for students of age 15 years and above to learn painting at a professional level ?
Yes! Its 100% possible. When we started to take 15 years and above aged students to our classes, we felt the same question. But once we started to teach, we have understood that the question is baseless. Simply they will learn like elders. Now many of the students who are attending colleges are coming to our classes regularly. They are planning to take Art as a career. They can become Fine art artists, Fashion Designers ,Interior Designers or Animators.

Plein air Painting.
Plein air means 'in the open air'. In 1800s when the Impressionists went out of their studios into nature to capture the effects of sunlight at different times of day on a subject, it was quite revolutionary and the outcome was shocking. From that moment the artists understood the power of Plein air Painting.
Nowadays all over the West, Plein air painting has become very popular. The rich experience of Plein air Painting makes the artist energetic and confident.
We want to give the same experience to our students. For that we are conducting Plein air painting classes organized by students. These Classes are guided by Magunta Dayakar personally.

Human Figure Drawing through Mannequin Models.
Figure drawing is arguably the most difficult subject an artist commonly encounters.
Figure drawing can be applied to portraiture, cartooning, comic book illustration, sculpture, medical illustration, and other fields that use depictions of the human form.
Artists take a variety of approaches to draw the human figure. They may draw from live models, from photographs or other reference material, from skeletal models, or from memory and imagination. But many of the artists of present and past used to work from live models. What they say is working from life will give you a true understanding about the human figure. Bur in our environments getting live models is very difficult. So to over come that obstacle, we are using wooden mannequin models.
Mannequin Models come in the wooden form and are easy to move, to draw the figure in motion and multiple poses. These wooden models have all the important joints that shape the arms, legs, torso, head, hands and feet.

Art Education.
We are conducting Art education classes once in a week. Class duration is 60 minutes. Magunta Dayakar will explain about different Art movements in the past and the present, and artists, their lives and their work Students will be encouraged to ask raise their doubts and questions to know more. These classes will give insight into art , artists and their work approaches. This insight will help them to become skilled artists. These Classes will be conducted every alternative Wednesday between 12- 1 pm.

Short Term Professional Painting Course -200 Classes
Part 1 -Foundation Course – 60 Classes
Part 2 -Senior's Course – 140 Classes

What is the outcome of this Professional Painting Course?
Usually to learn art at a professional level, it takes 5 to 8 years for students, depending upon their understanding and hard work. Because it's not just practice, they have to do...it's more than that. They have to understand many techniques. If they won't get the right teacher, even life time is not enough to understand those techniques.
But, keeping the situation of present day life in mind, we designed this Short Term Professional Painting Course consisting of only 200 classes. After completing these 200 classes (which consist of Foundation Course & Senior's Course) students are eligible to become professional artists. Within 1 - 2 years , attending at their convenient timings, they can achieve great skills.

Foundation Course - 60 Classes
Foundation Course consists of 3 subjects.

Sketching & Shading - 20 Classes
Copying, Positive Spaces & Negative spaces, Height & Width, Outward and Inward Curves, Drawing from Objects, Mass Drawing, Blind Contour Drawing, Gesture Drawing, Drawing from Life, Value Scale, Practicing from Prints, Practicing from Objects, Cast Shadows

Achromatic Painting and Monochrome Painting in Oils - 15 Classes
Fee in single payment Rs 15,000/-( Excludes Material)

Full Color Pallet in Oils - 25 Classes
