Rhythm - A revelation.
Suddenly last night I experienced a feeling, you call it a revelation. It's about Rhythm. It's a feeling. You are a part of the whole. You are in the movement. You are experiencing that movement. You are swayed by that movement. Forget about composition .forget about design. They are all part of the whole. This whole is in a movement. That movement is rhythm.

You are traveling on train. The train is in movement. You are also part of the movement. That movement will make you doze. You don't want to come out of that dozing. Because you are in peace. A real pleasure.
A pleasure which is connected to your being. That is Rhythm.

You are standing at the lake. The clouds are moving in the sky. That movement will capture your attention Will forget your existence. You become a part of that whole. That whole consists of clouds, ground,air...
In that whole forgetting your existence is your state of being. That state of being is Rhythm.

In painting, if we feel this wholeness and movement,If we forget that we are seeing a painting ...Then we say that painting has Rhythm.

Composition, design, color, value, texture, size, line ...everything is needed to create the whole,You call the essence of that whole 'Rhythm'.

This is my Revelation.
